Give a Future creates employment through education, training and micro-loans extending to around 10,000 people.  It is not about charity, but about hard work and opportunity for those struggling in poverty.  Through the running of economic development projects for women in the city of Addis Ababa, Give a Future are able to support women, youth and families, giving them back the confidence they have lost.  By assisting them in the setup of a business and helping to get them employed, they are able to secure a promising future for themselves.

Our microfinance programme aims to create independent, economically sufficient women who can provide for their families.  With a small loan of just £35, women are taught and mentored on important life skills and financial literacy that assists them in the creation and running of their own business.  Typically in around one or two years, they are able to raise their family over the poverty line.  Not only does this programme empower women, it also gives them the confidence and self worth as a role model to make a difference to not only themselves but others too.

THIS WILL CHANGE THE LIVES OF MORE THAN 4000 PEOPLE, CONSIDERING A WOMAN RE-INVEST 96% OF HER INCOME INTO HER FAMILY.
