Founder of DT38 and Dylan’s mother Tracy Tombides says, “the most important aim for us as a charity is to ensure that we are educating the youth of today to take their health into their own hands and to equip them with the necessary knowledge about testicular cancer to know what to do if they present with any symptoms. Early detection of testicular cancer can be the different between life and death and as a parent who has lost a child to this horrific disease, I urge as many men to get along to this free screening and to digest the information that DT38 is sharing about the important of self-checking and early detection of testicular cancer.”
OUR GOALS

Our mission is to raise awareness and change the stigma associated with men’s health issues with a focus on testicular cancer. We aim to do this through providing educational programmes and opportunities for the youth of our community, to help shape a generation of children who are self-aware about their health and wellbeing.
- Drive the SELF-AWARENESS campaign for the early detection of testicular cancer
- Focus on youth EDUCATION through various teaching programmes aligned to national curriculum
- Provide OPPORTUNITIES linked to fun and accessible activities within the community
OUR CAUSE: MEET DIDGE...

Natasha Kate Evans has written a children’s book equipped with a teaching package that aims to arm future generations with strategies to be resilient through adversity. Through Dylan’s real life story, teachers, parents and students will gain the necessary knowledge about testicular cancer that will enable them to be confident when taking health matters into their own hands.
Didge follows the life of talented cub, Didge, who excels at playing football. However, Sena, the sneaky, slithering snake enters Didge’s life unexpectedly and his life changes dramatically. A MESSAGE OF SUPPORT

“A hugely popular figure among his teammates, coaches, backroom staff, supporters and opponents alike, Dylan was loved and respected throughout the football community. Dylan was already a star. What he achieved in his 20 years was astonishing, but we also knew that he had the potential to go on and accomplish even greater things. This book will ensure that the stars of the future have the opportunity that Dylan, tragically, was robbed of, to fulfil their potential.”
