WHERE DID LIVOOS
COME FROM?

Livoos is the brainchild of our Founder and CEO Flavio Amorelli, a man who carried two parallel dreams with him since he was a child growing up in a small Italian village:

1) Become successful
2) Make a difference in the world

As he built a successful career in financial services Flavio’s confidence and hunger grew, but in 2007 he had an epiphany: he realised that the corporate world was no longer for him. It was then that he began a personal journey that would lead to founding of Livoos – and in the process he would create a revolutionary new business model that marries luxury lifestyle shopping with charitable giving.

We’d love to tell you a really interesting story about where the name ‘Livoos’ came from, but if we’re honest it’s pretty simple: one day Flavio was thinking about living his life in an authentic way and boom! The name Livoos was born.

Flavio founded Livoos to put together his passion for combining business and social. Having travelled and worked in different countries in Europe, Flavio left his role as Vice-President Corporate & Investment at Barclays Banks to found Livoos, following his own personal development with world renowned coaches.

JULIA CARRICK
Julia has been with the Financial Times for 20 years as Chief Executive of Walpole/Publisher How to Spend it. She is currently the publisher of Country & Townhouse. Julia has been awarded in January 2014 by the Queen of the title of Order of the British Empire (OBE) for Services to the British Luxury Industry.

KAMEL OUADI
Kamel is the President of Ko & Ko and the founder and creator of Nowness.com, a global platform for creative and brands within the context of art, fashion, design and beauty sectors.Kamel was able to attract and build a community of 12 million social users.

ARMANDO BRANCHINI
Armando Branchini is Vice Chairman of Fondazione Altagamma, the Foundation representing Italian Luxury Companies and Brands.

PAOLO PANERAI
Mr. Paolo Panerai serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Class China eCommerce srl. Mr. Panerai serves as Chief Executive Officer of Milano Finanza Editori S.p.A.    He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Vice President at Class Editori SpA, a main investor in Livoos.

Professor Vitale has travelled extensively in the world assisting luxury brands in their expansion strategy. Personal mentor and university teacher of the founder, Professor Vitale share with Livoos a humanistic approach to business and economy.
